Shown is Shinagawa 品川 in Edo (now Tokyo). The Tōkaidō road linked the capital of Kyoto to Edo and was one of Japan's major arteries in the Edo Era. This reprint was commission by The Mainichi Shimbun newspaper.
Very good condition, slight fraying on parts of the border outside the print.
